This full-length record with eight songs has been recorded and mixed by Thomas Kempf (ZANN, PETE THE PIRATE SQUID) and mastered by Jason Sanderson (ROLO TOMASSI, LAVOTCHKIN). (+) As you may have noticed, the early days' heavily Mid-90's Screamo influenced sound, that helped YFERE to release on renowned labels APE MUST NOT KILL APE and DENOVALI, has evolved into a more specific, black metal-ish, gritty, dark and hyperactive hardcore noise. Thematically "Zirkel" (german for "cycle") deals with the ubiquity of cycles which in the continuous mist of change, are opened, explored, closed and rediscovered constantly. The songs reflect on how cycles interweave and construct complex relationships, which dominate our thoughts and actions, how they self-reflexively enlarge and consolidate life, the mind, the world and our existence within and our view on it. The LP comes in a nice gatefold cover. All records including a download-code. Limited first pressing of 300 pieces! 100 of them are on limited 180-gram black vinyl. — YFERE haben in der Vergangenheit schon einige Singles veröffentlicht, unter anderem auch auf APE MUST NOT KILL APE und DENOVALI. Musikalisch sind sie verwurzelt im derb-brutalen 90er-Screamo, meist schnell, mit kurzen Prügelattacken und dann wieder schleppend. Die neuen Songs haben sich allerdings ordentlich verändert... Alles klingt wesentlich fetter, aggressiver und zugleich auch etwas kälter und räudiger... Mit anderen Worten: fies und blackmetallig angehaucht und zwar satt!!! Macedonian post-punx Bernays Propaganda have recorded a new album. The Record "My Personal Holiday" contain 9 songs, some in English and some in Macedonian. (+) Bernays Propaganda could be shortly described as danceable new-wave/post-punk band with charming female vocals. But don't be misleaded, we are talking here about an extremely political band influenced by a variety of bands, from SUBMISSION HOLD over FUGAZI all the way to the GOSSIP and GANG OF FOUR. Firm drum beats accompanied with thick and groovy bass lines are the base upon which layers of funky and broken guitar chords are placed, and above all comes unique, strong and remarkable female voice as a cherry on the top. Were lunatic enthusiasm, bursting energy and catchy atmosphere already mentioned? In Kombination mit einigen anderen geilen Labels bringen wir Euch die zweite LP von Bernays Propaganda aus Skopje. The Italian avant/cosmic-doom/core band is back with another monstrous release. Although the band has always been rooted in its hardcore attitude, its sound has continuously evolved during these years and Atlas Coelestis is just the outcome of this process. (+) Since the beginning of their decennial career, One Starving Day's impact has always been definitely dark and claustrophobic, and their long suites alternate between hardcore/doom basic structures, cosmic openings, and deep and calm intimacy. Following the wide positive comments about their first album, Broken Wings Lead Arms to the Sun, the band has been described as a hybrid between Neurosis and GSYBE!. For this new release, called Atlas Coelestis, the band evolves towards a more personal song writing in order to design more particular musical landscapes. The album has been recorded and mixed by David Lenci at Red House Recordings and mastered at Chicago Mastering Service by Bob Weston. Atlas Coelestis sounds like a very particular mixture of sounds. Explosions of analogue synths, mystical patterns of harmonium and organ, fierce vocals full of anguish, delicate cellos patterns, eschatological tapes and samples, a solid rhythmic session, melodic and powerful guitars, they all characterize the complex sound of this album. The result is an amazing avant-gardist mixture of different codes ranging from hardcore/doom to krautrock and contemporary music. (-) Release Info Media

Damn, what a blast! The upcoming TOUNDRA DLP is just about the limit. Right after their first masterpiece we were blown away, but this time they surpass themselves. (+) Hate people comparing bands to other as they are always lying and exaggerating, but even if TOUNDRA are slowing down sometimes, they are kicking ass like a perfectly new band formed out of KYUSS and RUSSIAN CIRCLES without playing hours and hours the same boring riffs. Once again another band no one is really talking about, but which outacts almost every band playing similar shit. A huge thank you towards our friends from madrid. Meine Fresse, was für ein Hammer ist bitte die neue TOUNDRA DLP?! Gerade nach ihrem erstes Meisterwerk waren wir schon hin und weg. Aber das übertrifft alles! Vergleiche stinken und sind immer maßlos übertrieben, doch auch wenn TOUNDRA vereinzelt langsame Songs einfliessen lassen, teilweise auch mit Cello und Klavier, so wird auch wieder das Gaspedal durchgetreten und es klingt so, als würden KYUSS und RUSSIAN CIRCLES zu einer genialen Band verschmelzen, ohne wie die meisten anderen Bands ohne rock stundenlang auf faden Riffs rumzudaddeln. Mal wieder eine instrumentale Band über die keiner redet, aber die locker fast alles an ähnlicher Mucke lockerst und jederzeit an die Wand spielt. Danke nach Madrid. (-) Release Info Media

Libyans are from Boston, MA and play snotty and melodic hardcore punk. Pulling various influences from Cock Sparrer to the Avengers to Career Suicide. Their music is raw and poppy at the same time while not leaning too much toward either side. (+) This LP features almost everything they have released so far including both 7inches, their 12inch and a song from the Too Circle Records - HC/Punk compilation. The band wants to come and tour Europe early next year after raising peoples attention with this release and an interview in the new issee of the glory Three Chords Zine. Die Libyans aus Boston (USA) spielen dreckigen und melodischen Hardcore Punk. Beeinflusst von etlichen Bands wie Cock Sparrer, den Avengers und Career Suicide ist ihre Musik rau und poppig zur selben Zeit ohne irgendwann zu sehr in eine Richtung zu gehen. Piraten aus Mannheim gibts nicht? Gibt's doch! Feinster düsterer Endzeit-HC von drei Wasserratten, der an ältere Narshardaa-Releases wie Angstzustand oder Arsen in noch düsterer erinnert. Heutzutage werden etliche ähnliche Bands ins unermessliche abgefeiert, aber für mich kommt niemand davon an Planks ran. Let the world drown, oder wat? (+) Nice dark and heavy apocalypstic hc/punk which reminds us of old Narshardaa-releases like Arsen and Angstzustand includes modern HC like, Old Man Gloom, Coliseum or Isis meets old hc like His Hero Is Gone or Union of Uranus. There are tons of bands playing a similar style today, but for us Planks are one of the very very very few that matter. (-) Release Info Media
